Membership

Social Membership is $5.50 and expires on 30th September 2024 which is the end of our financial year.

Membership entitles you to:

  • Our Membership Loyalty Program
  • Membership Draws
  • Discounts in the Bistro and Bar.

Photo ID is required and you can join up at Reception.

Membership Fees

In order to become a bowling member, you must fill out an application form (Which you can get from Reception or download the application form below) and get nominated and seconded by current bowling members. This is easy if you come into the Club on our designated bowling days Men – Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, Ladies – Tuesday and Thursday.  It’s important to note that if you are a bowling member of another club, that a clearance will be essential if coming from interstate and wish to play Pennant or Championship. 

Men Annual Sub: $150 (1st October  to  30th September) + $10 Locker Fee

Pro rata as follows:

  • April/May – $69
  • June/July – $59
  • August – $49

Ladies Annual Sub: $150 (1st October to  30th September) + $10 Locker Fee

Pro rata as follows:

  • April/May – $69
  • June/July –  $59
  • August – $49

Juniors Annual Sub: $80 (1st October to 30th September)

Members Info

QLD Liquor Licensing Laws require that entry to Burleigh Bowls Club is restricted to:

  • members of the club
  • a guest of a member
  • members of clubs with formal reciprocal rights
  • visitors authorised by the management committee playing a sport that is part of the club’s business, including teams and officials, for the day on which the sport is played only
  • a visitor who resides at least 15 km from the club
  • an applicant for membership for 30 days after receipt of application
  • an interstate or overseas visitor
  • a person attending a function on the premises

All members are required to show/swipe their membership card upon entry into the club.

All reciprocal members and visitors must sign in and provide proof of ID at reception.

Code of Conduct

All patrons of the Burleigh Bowls Club are required to behave in a manner that is conducive to the quiet enjoyment of the facilities by all patrons while enabling employees to conduct their duties in a lawful manner without intimidation or harassment.

Social Membership allows access to all the clubs’ facilities for non-bowlers.

Privacy Statement: Burleigh Heads Bowls Club is committed to safeguarding the privacy of the personal information you have supplied on this form. The club will use this personal information to process your membership application and to provide facilities and services to you. The club will be unable to offer you membership or access to facilities and services if you do not supply the required personal information. The club may also use your personal information for related purposes or for direct marketing communications with you.

You may access, update and amend your personal information at any time by making a written request to the club. Personal details such as name and phone numbers of bowlers are published in the Annual Reports each year. Other than this, no personal information will be given out for any reason.
